The focus in Operations will include improving- servicing of orders/requests, Management of resources, Customer service and Quality. Assessments will be done to identify those areas in Operations that can be improved to deliver tangible benefits around productivity, defect reduction, lead times and customer service. We could also do an audit to check the current status.
Business Process Improvement
The focus in Business Process improvement will be to improve critical business processes across functions. Most business processes would have been designed some time back or enhanced post a BPR or a tool implementation. The service offering will focus on key business processes and check if they are operating at the required levels, very specifically ensuring that there is no local optimization.
The focus in Throughput Improvement will be to maximize sales by improving the flow through the supply chain. This service will focus on the flow of the product / service through the value chain and look at the bottlenecks and how other parts / functions are configured with respect to the known bottlenecks.
In each of the above offerings we will start with an assessment that clearly identifies the current state and the possible scope for improvement. The approach will be methodology agnostic and the tools and methodology will be chosen based on the identified need.
